Your files stay in your browser

When you choose a payroll or leave file, it is read by code running in your own browser tab, and the records pack and exceptions report are made there too. Worker names, IDs, pay, hours and leave, and the files you download, are not sent to us or to anyone else. We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.

Saved employers

For each employer, the name, leave-year settings, which column is which, and the worker settings you type in (worker type, weekly hours, days per week, day length, start and leaving dates, keyed by worker ID) are saved in your browser’s local storage so the next run starts where you left off. Payroll and leave files themselves are not saved. Nothing in local storage is sent to us. Clearing your browser’s site data deletes it.

License checks

If you enter a license key, your browser sends only the key to our license endpoint (/api/license on this site). That endpoint asks Paddle whether the subscription is active and which plan it is for, and returns the answer with a signed token that lets the browser keep working for up to 24 hours if it goes offline. Your browser stores the key and that token in local storage; “Remove key from this browser” deletes it.

Purchases

Checkout is provided by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, which collects your name, email, billing address and card details under its own privacy policy. We receive from Paddle the order details we need to provide and support the subscription (such as your email, country, plan and subscription status). We never see your full card details.

Hosting

The site is served by a hosting provider that processes standard connection data (such as IP address) to deliver pages and protect against abuse.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you (in practice, Paddle order details) by emailing us. We keep order records only as long as needed for tax and accounting obligations.
